I'm Diego Ishida. I help brands, e-commerce companies and teams turn strategy into creative that performs — and lead the production that makes it happen, in English and Japanese.
Eight pieces across storytelling, e-commerce, UGC and product work — in both English and Japanese. The full library is filterable by work type, industry, video language and client.
The value is not in any one of these alone. It's in connecting the idea, the marketing objective and the production that delivers it.
I don't just make the work — I lead the people and the process that make it at scale.
Alongside my own production, I've spent years directing video editors and running creative production: setting the brief, reviewing output, holding a quality bar and building the workflows that keep it consistent as volume grows. That's the difference between delivering a video and owning a creative function.
Native Japanese creative and market adaptation for international companies entering or scaling in Japan — built by someone who works in the market, not translating from outside it.
I'm a creative strategist and marketer based in Japan. My work sits where creative strategy, performance marketing, video production and Japanese-market adaptation meet.
Most of my background is commercial: digital offers, launches and paid campaigns. That shaped how I approach creative — not as decoration, but as part of a system where the hook, the message, the offer and the audience have to line up. Today that includes AI-assisted production, used where it makes the work faster or better rather than as the point of it.
I've also led video editors and creative production workflows for years, which means I've spent as much time on briefs, reviews and quality control as on making the work myself.
For over a decade I've helped companies communicate and grow in the Japanese market — adapting offers and messaging, not just translating them. I work in English, Japanese and Portuguese.
